Your NEET UG score can unlock seats across four distinct counselling streams. Each stream is run by a different authority, has its own eligibility rules, and operates on its own timeline.

Key notes
- AIIMS and JIPMER are fully under MCC — they do not participate in state counselling.
- Deemed universities have 100% stray vacancy seats managed by MCC.
- ESI and AFMC have separate counselling; J&K is not part of the AIQ pool.
- MCC does not allot Management Quota or NRI Quota seats — those are managed by colleges/states.

- AYUSH counselling is separate from MBBS/BDS counselling — different schedule and portal.
- NEET UG score is mandatory for AYUSH admissions as well.

- Cutoffs for AYUSH programs are typically lower than MBBS but vary significantly by college type.
